Role Summary

This combined role encompasses responsibilities for managing IT infrastructure, hardware support, and assisting in IoT/OT connectivity for Industry 4.0 solutions. The position requires expertise in server administration, networking, end-user support, and integration of IoT/OT systems to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Administration

1. Plan, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure for office environments.

2. Set up and configure workstations, printers, and network devices.

3. Manage on-premises and cloud-based servers (Windows/Linux).

4. Monitor server health, backups, and security protocols.

5. Handle firewall configurations, VPN setups, and LAN/WAN optimization.

6. Administer corporate email systems (Microsoft Exchange, Office 365).

7. Manage user accounts, permissions, and email security.

8. Coordinate IT procurement and maintain asset inventory.

9. Ensure compliance with global IT standards and security protocols.

Hardware & IoT/OT Support

1. Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.

2. Install operating systems, applications, antivirus, and security updates.

3. Set up and support basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi, switches, routers, IP configuration).

4. Assist in IoT/OT integration including gateways and industrial protocols.

5. Support network connectivity using MQTT, Modbus, OPC UA, JSON (basic level).

6. Ensure secure and reliable data flow between OT devices and IT systems.

7. Document configurations and resolve support tickets.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT administration and hardware support.

3. Strong knowledge of Windows servers, networking (DHCP, DNS, IP settings), and system

security.

4. Understanding of IoT/OT technologies and industrial protocols.

5. Familiarity with industrial networks and CISCO servers is an advantage.

6. Experience with email systems (Office 365, Exchange), Active Directory, and cloud services.

7. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer support skills.

8. Good communication and coordination abilities, especially in cross-functional and global

teams.

9. Experience with IT procurement and vendor management.
